Coming off a gutsy comeback Monday night against the Utah Jazz, the Orlando Magic found time on Tuesday to host a party at RDV Sportsplex for 42 families of the Apopka Family Learning Center where the organization provided many activities from snow slides, to snowball fights (in which players like Brandon Bass and Ryan Anderson gladly participated in) and arts and crafts where J.J. Redick manned the face paint area and Mickael Pietrus was working on his drawing. The team gave out plenty of bikes for all the children in attendance.

General Manager Otis Smith and Owner Rich DeVos have done an especially great job these past few years promoting the team through countless charitable causes and events that have made this franchise one of the most praised throughout the league.

After Dwight Howard and other teammates made a request to Coach Stan Van Gundy about being more positive, 'SVG' seems to been smiling a whole lot more and being much less grinch-like. Santa Stan brought his family to the special event and helped give out bicycles.

Jameer Nelson is rumored to be starting tonight in Orlando's home matchup against the Houston Rockets that brings about another return for Tracy McGrady who should see court time tonight. Don't expect Jason William's demotion to affect him much. Also, UCF fans get to officially greet Jermaine Taylor's first regular season return to Central Florida. Taylor is coming off nine minutes of action against the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday in a 108-99 home victory. Coach Rick Adelman's 17-11 squad has won 7 straight games in Orlando and are currently riding a 3-game winning streak overall.
